Lemon Butter Salmon Baked in Foil FAQs
- We prefer to use unsalted butter in order to control the salt in the dish. Because the Tuscan Herb Seasoning has salt in it already, we find that unsalted butter gives a house favorite flavor.
- Always use fresh lemons. While buying store-bought lemon juice may seem like a quick shortcut, it will change the overall flavor.
- Fresh lemons will give you a house favorite flavor. Having the slices rest on the salmon through the cooking process allows the juice to soak in as it bakes.
- You can broil it at the end. If you like a crispy exterior to your salmon, you can open the foil packets and broil for the last minute or so of cooking time to crisp up the top. You’ll want to remove the lemon slices before doing this.
